221Lorenzen, MichaelFullerton HS (CA)CFR/R6'02"1801992-01-04HS
Comments: Lorenzen is an intriguing high school outfield prospect who opened some eyes early at the Urban Youth Acadmy Showcase. He's always shown a good feel for the game, but his toolset had been lacking. That began to change at the showcase, as he ran better, showed a plus arm and good defensive skills to go along with his overall hitting ability. If the tools continue to pop out to scouts along with his instincts for the game, he could move up the charts as June approaches.

421Linton, TyCharlotte Christian School (NC)CFR/R6'03"1991-01-17HS
Comments: Whoever takes Linton in the Draft will be buying into his future power potential. A two-sport star who could play both baseball and football in college, Linton has outstanding raw power at the plate. With a long swing, however, some worry about his ability to tap into that power consistently. He's athletic enough to where he should be a decent enough outfielder in the future and he's shown glimpses of above-average speed. If you believe the bat will come around, you might see him as an everyday left fielder with the pop to stay in a corner spot.

109Landry, LeonLSUCFL/R5'11"1951989-09-20JR
Comments: Landry made a smooth transition from high school infielder to LSU outfielder and now looks like he has the makings of a quality center fielder. He's made changes to his offensive approach and has been more productive this year, with fewer strikeouts and more walks. He has some pop, but power isn't a huge part of his game. He is probably a step below the top college bats in this class, but succeeding at LSU in the SEC will certainly help his Draft stock.

62LaMarre, RyanMichiganCFR/L6'02"1988-11-21JR
Comments: LaMarre's name was shooting up Draft boards when he showed he was fully recovered from an early thumb injury. He can swing the bat and has made some nice adjustments following a rough summer on the Cape. He runs well, though isn't a burner, and plays good defense. While he might be a tweener -- not enough speed for center, not enough power for a corner -- his overall skill set and baseball know-how had his name being mentioned in first-round conversations.
