May 8 -- The Big Unit, Randy Johnson, foreshadows his season- (and postseason-) long dominance with this Major League record-tying 20 strikeout performance vs. the Cincinnati Reds. Here he rings up his final victim to end the game in the ninth.

July 10 -- In an magical moment befitting his storybook career, Cal Ripken steps to the plate amid an All-Star crowd loudly saluting the retiring hero, and smashes a Chan Ho Park offering into the left-field bullpen.

Aug. 5 -- The Indians pull off one of the greatest single-game comebacks ever. After being down 14-2 to Seattle in the seventh inning, the Indians battle back and ultimately win the game in 11 innings. Jolbert Cabrera drives in Kenny Lofton to win it 15-14 in front of the stunned and elated Jacobs Field faithful.

Oct. 5 -- After a year-long chase, and an unbelievably consistent and torrid pace in the midst of a tight pennant race, Barry Bonds finally does it. Bonds becomes the new owner of the single-season home run record with blast No. 71 off of Chan Ho Park.
