How does the Take Me Out to the Ballgame Contest work?
The object of Baby Ruth Take Me Out to the Ballgame Contest is to create and submit the best original video showing the participant performing the song, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." The Baby Ruth brand must also be incorporated visually either with an image of the bar, packaging, and/or brand logo. Judges will then select ten (10) semi-finalists whose submissions will then be featured on MLB.com/BabyRuth where fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite video. The three (3) videos that receive the most votes will be deemed Finalists and those persons will appear before a panel of judges on July 15, 2008 at the DHL All-Star FanFest to determine the Grand Prize Winner. That person will have the opportunity to lead the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch of the 2008 All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium in New York City.
How do I enter this contest?
Log on to MLB.com/BabyRuth between 12:01 A.M. Eastern Time (ET) on March 31, 2008 and 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time (ET) on May 26, 2008. Click on the contest banners, buttons, and/or links to access the online submission form and video upload for the contest. You must then read, acknowledge, and agree to the Official Rules, including the Consent, Assignment, and Release agreements. Please provide your complete name, date of birth, address, city, state, ZIP/postal code, telephone number, e-mail address, and video.

Who can participate in this contest?
Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, and Washington, D.C., who are eighteen (18) years of older and have a valid e-mail address and internet access as of the date of submission. Do not enter this contest if you are not located in the fifty (50) United States, Washington, D.C.
What kind of videos can I create?
It's entirely up to you. Be as creative as possible. However, there are a few rules:
What kind of content is not allowed?
- Videos must maintain uphold the integrity of the lyrics of the song "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
- You must be the lead performer singing the entire song.
- Submission must be in English
- Submission must be original, unpublished, the sole property of the submitter, and not previously submitted in any other contest.
- Videos may not exceed two (2) minutes in length
Please make sure your video is in good taste. Any videos containing profanity, sexually-explicit material, lotteries or gambling, tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, dangerous stunts, weapons or anything else judged to be in poor taste will be removed from the competition and will not be posted to the MLB.com/BabyRuth site.
How many videos am I allowed to submit?
There will be a limit of one (1) submission per email address, per person.
How and where do I upload video?
Uploading video on to MLB.com/BabyRuth is easy. Simply click the "Upload and Register" tab when arriving at the site and follow the instructions on your screen. You will be asked to enter basic information, such as your name, e-mail address, home zip code and birth date. Once you complete that information, you will be able to click the "Upload Video" button, where you will be able to name, describe and locate your video file and upload it to the MLB.com/BabyRuth site.
What formats of video can I upload?
Submissions must be in one of the following formats: .avi, mov, mpg, wma, .mp3, .mpeg, .dv, .gcelp, .wav, .wmv, .qt, .mp4, amr-nb, .mod, .3g2, .asf, .3gp, .fly, ands/or .movieclip. MLBAM will not accept files that exceed a file size larger than 100MB. Submissions may not exceed two minutes in length.
When will my video be posted live to the site?
MLB and BabyRuth must review all videos before they can be posted live to the MLB.com/BabyRuth site. Please check back in a few days to see if your video has been posted.
How does the voting process work?
Once the ten (10) semi-finalists are chosen by the judges, those videos will be featured on MLB.com/BabyRuth between 12:01 A.M. Eastern Time (ET) on June 9, 2008 and 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time (ET) on June 30, 2008. This will be the voting period where family, friends, and fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite video. The three (3) videos that receive the most votes during the voting period will be finalists and have a chance to compete for the Grand Prize.
How many times can I vote?
There is a limit of twenty-five (25) votes per e-mail address.

Prizes and Winners
What are the different types of prizes?
- The seven (7) First Prize winners will each receive one (1) 2008 MLB All-Star Weekend Gift Bag, as well as a one (1) year supply of Baby Ruth Product.
- The three (3) Finalists will all receive a trip for him/her and a guest to the 2008 All-Star weekend for final judging. The trip includes round-trip coach air transportation to New York, two (2) tickets to the 2008 MLB All-Star Game, ground transportation to/from hotel/airport and four (4) days/three (3) nights hotel accommodations.
- One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the opportunity to lead the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch at the 2008 MLB All-Star Game to be played on July 15, 2008 at Yankee Stadium in New York.
