To enter, you must complete an online entry form and select for each round you think the MLB players participating in the Home Run Derby will finish in each round of the Home Run Derby, as well as the answers to three tiebreaker questions.

Making your Selections
The eight (8) MLB players participating in the Home Run Derby will be posted by MLBAM at www.mlb.com after all participants have been confirmed. Your goal is to select the correct finish for each player of each round of the three rounds of the Home Run Derby. To do this, simply drag and drop the player's image to each selected spot displayed in an online form on www.mlb.com.
You will not need to make any selections for Round 1. For Round 2, you must select your four (4) Round 2 choices for which players will appear in Round 2. After completing Round 2, you must select two (2) Round 3 choices for which players will appear in Round 3. You must then select the player which will finish as a runner-up and as a champion.
Only one entry may be submitted per valid e-mail address. If a user submits multiple entries using the same e-mail address, the most recent submission will be considered that user's submission for that valid e-mail address.
Player Selection Deadline
You will have until 8:00 PM ET on July 9, 2012 to submit your selections. MLBAM's computer shall be the official clock of the Contest.
Eight (8) MLB players will initially be selected to participate in the Home Run Derby. In the event that a MLB player drops out and is replaced by another MLB player, the following method will be used to determine replacements in MLB.com Home Run Derby Challenge:
If a player drops out of the HR Derby prior to the start of the event, a replacement player will be named. As soon as the replacement player is named, he will also be inserted into the Contest, replacing the player that dropped out.
In the event that two players drop out at the same time, and two replacements are announced at the same time, the replacements will be based off last name alphabetical order. Example: If Smith and Williams drop out at the same time, and Brown and Johnson are named as replacements, Brown would replace Smith and Johnson would replace Williams in the Contest.
Scoring in the Contest is as follows:
Second round correct choice: Five (5) points for each correct second round choice
Third round correct choice: Ten (10) points for each correct third round choice
Runner-up correct choice: Fifteen (15) points for the correct runner-up choice
Champion correct choice: Twenty-five (25) points for the correct champion choice
A perfect score would be eighty (80) points if a participant correctly chooses the finish in all three rounds of the Home Run Derby.
NOTE: Only home runs officially scored as home runs in the Home Run Derby will be counted in the Contest.
The eligible participant with the most points greater than or equal to forty (40) points will win two (2) tickets to the 2013 MLB All-Star Game to be played at Citi Field in Queens, New York (the "Grand Prize") (Approximate retail value of Grand Prize: US$300).
THE GRAND PRIZE WILL NOT BE AWARDED IF NO PARTICIPANT ACCUMULATES AT LEAST FORTY (40) POINTS.
