Lilly will be careful with his first pitch. Milwaukee's Rickie Weeks launched Lilly's first offering this season over the left-field wall in the lefty's last start. Lilly took the loss, giving up four runs on five hits over 4 2/3 innings. He did strike out four. He struggled with his fastball -- he didn't have command or location. That's a bad combination.

Gorzelanny wasn't at his sharpest in his first outing of the season, though to his credit, the left-hander managed to limit the damage to just three runs in six innings. Hitters consistently went deep into the count against the left-hander, and his command was somewhat erratic throughout the night.
