Kelly Johnson is trying to clear his mind of personal success. Taking most of the day off Sunday before getting a full off-day Monday, he tried to keep away the thoughts of a 13-game hitting streak, because that's the only way to keep "the zone" intact.

Without an overpowering fastball, Parr has found early success with his slider and changeup. Dating back to his final three starts with Triple-A Richmond this year, he's allowed one earned run in his past 29 innings.
