Ichiro Suzuki extended his hitting streak to double-digits for the second time this season on Saturday and will look to keep it going during Sunday's finale.
Mariners probable pitcher
Garrett Olson
- #49 LHP
- (2-2) 4.95 ERA 23 SO
Olson's last start against San Diego didn't go as well as his previous outing, which also came against the Padres. The left-hander allowed six runs --all earned -- in 5 1/3 innings, allowing San Diego to break things open in the middle frames after cruising through the first three innings. He didn't walk anyone, but gave up a two-run home run to Adrian Gonzalez in the fourth and never really got comfortable after that, yielding another two runs in the fifth before giving up two more in the sixth. Olson surrendered eight hits while throwing 82 pitches, 59 for strikes. This will be Olson's first career start against the Dodgers.

Hiroki Kuroda has never played against Ichiro Suzuki with anything on the line, but he'll finally get to face one of the best hitters in the game on Sunday.
Dodgers probable pitcher
Hiroki Kuroda
- #18 RHP
- (2-3) 3.44 ERA 30 SO
Kuroda allowed a Paul Konerko home run but was otherwise dominant for 8 2/3 innings against the White Sox. After allowing nine runs in 11 1/3 innings of his previous two starts, Kuroda made an adjustment of the grip on his two-seam fastball and the increased movement was dramatic, leading to a dozen ground outs in addition to nine strikeouts. In five previous starts, he had not gone deeper than six innings.

Beltre goes out winner before DL trip (39-36) (48-28)
Mariners 4, Dodgers 2
Already scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery Tuesday and miss six weeks, Adrian Beltre went out with a bang Sunday. The third baseman singled home a run during a third-inning rally and turned in some defensive gems to help wrap up a series win over the Dodgers. Ichiro Suzuki extended his hitting streak to 11 games.

Hiroki Kuroda settled down after running into some trouble during a three-run third inning for the Mariners, but the Dodgers never recovered as they struggled to put anything together offensively against four Seattle pitchers. Matt Kemp's homer and Andre Ethier's sacrifice fly accounted for Los Angeles' only runs.
