The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) is a public, not-for-profit national organization founded by Rachel Robinson in 1973 as a vehicle to perpetuate the memory of Jackie Robinson and his achievements. It provides education and leadership development opportunities for minority students with strong capabilities, but limited financial resources. Serving as an advocate for young people with the greatest need, the Foundation assists increasing numbers of minority youths through the granting of four-year scholarships for higher education.

• $3.1 Million provided in scholarship assistance and program support
• 259 JRF Scholars and Fellows (247 JRF Scholars, 12 Extra Innings Fellows)
• Scholars and Fellows are enrolled at 94 colleges and universities
• Scholars represent 30 States and the District of Columbia
• 92 corporations, foundations and individuals currently support the Foundation's Education and Leadership Development Program (ELDP)
