Justin was named Executive Director in Jan., 2008. He is in charge of umpire assignments and oversees a staff of field evaluators/instructors for Professional Baseball Umpire Corp. (PBUC), a subsidiary of Minor League Baseball which was established in Oct., 1997, to operate and maintain the umpire program for the 16 domestic Minor Leagues. Justin joined the staff as a Field Evaluator/Instructor in Jan., 2006.
After graduating from the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring, Klemm spent nine seasons as an umpire in the International, Eastern, Southern, Carolina, Midwest and New York-Penn Leagues. During his four years at the Triple-A level, he also worked part-time in the Major Leagues. Justin spent one off-season umpiring in China. Justin is based in New Jersey.
Klemm is a native of Cataumet, Massachusetts, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
