Yankees hold on after perfect start
Heading into the seventh inning, the Red Sox hadn't even managed a baserunner against the Yankees' Mike Mussina. By the end of the frame, they'd cut their eight-run deficit down to three, and after the top of the eighth, they were just one run behind.
