Jorge Sosa helped his cause with an RBI single and was steady through six innings, allowing three runs, but took the loss in Game 3. Game 2 hero Brian McCann and Andruw Jones added RBIs, but the Braves were otherwise shut down and now face a win-or-go-home Game 4 on Sunday.

'Atta boy, Roy! Astros lead
Roy Oswalt and the Astros' bats had the Braves seeing double, taking a 2-1 series lead. Houston rolled seven doubles, three by Craig Biggio and a pair of RBI two-baggers by Morgan Ensberg, and Oswalt limited Atlanta to three runs in 7 1/3 dominant innings. Mike Lamb added a solo homer.
