Postseason ends for Halos
The Angels' season is over. After Kelvim Escobar's error, Chicago's Joe Crede greeted reliever Francisco Rodriguez in the eighth with an RBI single to break a tie, and the Halos never recovered. The Angels had only five hits, two of them by second baseman Adam Kennedy. The American League West champions were bidding for their second World Series appearance in four years.
