THIS WEEK IN BASEBALL PRESENTED BY PEPSI
SATURDAY, 12:30 p.m. ET ON FOX, SUNDAY, 2 ET, MLB NETWORK
In This Week in Baseball
, presented by Pepsi, players are polled about who hits the most majestic home runs and which outfielder is most likely to rob one. Our list of long-ball hitters contained some of the best, including a Bronx Bomber, a Prince, and a first baseman who knows how to get it Dunn. Then, we head to the outfield to see who gets the most air when trying to deny opponents of a round-tripper. The polls came down to the wire. Tune in to learn who tops the lists.
TWIB checks in again on MLB Fan Cave stars Mike O'Hara and Ryan Wagner. Following that, TWIB teams up with MLB Network for "Diamond Demos." "Going All Out" features hustle players and moments in the game, and this week TWIB keeps it going yard as we take a look at some of the greatest home runs of all time, including one shot that was heard 'round the world. TWIB continues with "Big League Blast," "Rookies" and "Winning Road Trips." The show will close with the great plays and bloopers of the week in "How 'Bout That."
This Week in Baseball also airs internationally in Canada, Australia, China, Japan, Vietnam, Central and South America, Caribbean (including Puerto Rico) and across Europe, with full episodes available here.
FROM THE FIELD
After a busy few weeks on both coasts, field production crews return home for a few shoots in New Jersey. This Week in Baseball interviews Rutgers student and playwright Alex Gherardi, who is currently writing one of the plays in a series of short baseball vignettes called the "7th Inning Stretch." Finally, we put the finishing touches on Yankeeography: Joe Girardi, a one-hour biography scheduled to air in June on YES Network.
