A new season of MLB Network's Studio 42 with Bob Costas premieres on Tuesday, November 10 with an exclusive sit-down interview with Major League Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig at 8:00 p.m. ET. In the premiere episode, Costas and Selig discuss umpiring, stadium ticket prices, competitive balance, scheduling, performance enhancing drugs and former MLB player and manager Pete Rose.

At 9:00 p.m. ET, Costas interviews current NBC sportscaster Al Michaels about Game Three of the 1989 World Series with the Oakland Athletics at San Francisco Giants that was interrupted by the Loma Prieta earthquake on October 17, 1989.

MLB Tonight: World Series Edition will air live from each ballpark at 5:30 p.m. ET for two hours before each game, including interviews, coverage of batting practice and previews of each game. Immediately following each game, MLB Tonight: World Series Edition will return for live, on-field highlights and analysis. MLB Network is airing 100 hours of live coverage throughout the 2009 MLB postseason.

MLB Network today announced its live game schedule for September 10-12, beginning with the Cincinnati Reds at Colorado Rockies at 3:00 p.m. ET on September 10, as part of Thursday Afternoon Baseball. The game, which is not scheduled to be broadcast locally in Cincinnati, will be aired on MLB Network in the Reds' home television territory as a simulcast of the Fox Sports Rocky Mountain feed. The game will be blacked out in the Rockies' home television territory and viewers in the area subject to blackouts will be provided with alternate programming.
