Snow's dad pulling for Giants
By Thomas Harding / MLB.com
ST. LOUIS -- Cardinal red isn't thicker than blood, at least not in the Snow family.
Giants first baseman J.T. Snow is son of former Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Jack Snow, who now is the color commentator for St. Louis Rams football games and has a radio call-in show in St. Louis.
Ever since the Giants eliminated the Braves and advanced to the National League Championship Series against the Cardinals, callers to Jack Snow's show have repeatedly asked him one question.
"He said he's had a lot of people call in asking who he was going to root for," J.T. said. "He just kind of chuckles and laughs and says, 'Of course, I'm going to root for the team my son plays for.'
"I think it just kind of shows you what kind of people call in sometimes to talk shows and radio shows. They might not be the brightest people, but he's kind of stunned that they would even ask that question."
