--Kent becomes the 2nd Giant to ever hit 2 homers in a World Series Game, the other being BENNY KAUFF on Oct. 11, 1917, Game 4 vs. the White Sox at New York.
--Kent's 4 runs scored tonight tie the individual record for a World Series game…It has been accomplished 8 times previously, last by Philadelphia's LENNY DYKSTRA on Oct. 20, 1993, Game 4 at Toronto.

RICH AURILIA hit his 2nd homer of the Series in the 8th inning…Aurila now has 17 rbi in this post-season, 2 shy of the all-time record set by Cleveland's SANDY ALOMAR, Jr. in 1997.

GIANTS OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION: Highlights from tonight:

THE GIANTS have taken a 3-2 lead in a World Series for just the 2nd time in team hisdtory…New York led Washington, 3-2 in 1924 before losing the Series in 7 games.

This marks the 1st time that the Giants have won consecutive World Series games since sweeping Cleveland in 4 games in 1954.

SERIES AT 3-2: The Giants are the 59th team to take a 3-2 lead in the World Series, 58 of those coming in 5 games. Of the previous 58, 22 have won Game 6 and a total of 39 have captured the title.
