Tasty tidbit: The two longest extra-inning games in Division history -- by time -- were both won by the New York franchises. The Mets' 3-2 win over the Giants on Oct. 7, 2000 is the longest Division Series game by time, clocking in at 5 hours, 22 minutes. Next comes the Yankees 7-5 win over the Mariners on Oct. 4, 1995 -- which went a Division Series-record 15 innings. That game was played in 5 hours, 13 minutes.
