PHOENIX -- Richie Sexson returned to Maryvale Baseball Park on Monday, just in time to join the crowd for the biggest event of the spring.
It had nothing to do with the afternoon Diamondbacks-Brewers game, which turned into a thriller. Sexson and D-Backs teammate Luis Gonzalez joined a rowdy crowd of Brewers at a makeshift basketball court for a high-noon showdown between traveling secretary Dan Larrea and clubhouse attendant Jerome Brody.
Had Sexson ever seen anything like it?
"Yeah, last year," he joked.
