Welcome Home Luncheon sold out
The Kansas City Royals announced today that the 2004 Welcome Home Luncheon, presented by the Kansas City Zone Dodge Dealers and co-sponsored by Teva Neuroscience, is officially sold out. Scheduled for noon on Tuesday, April 6, at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, the Welcome Home Luncheon is an annual event to launch the start of the baseball season in Kansas City.

More than 1,000 Royals fans will see their favorite players, meet the newest members of the team, and get a season preview from 2003 American League Manager of the Year, Tony Pena. All proceeds from the luncheon benefit Royals Charities.

Royals Charities makes a difference by supporting programs that invest in youth, education, and neighborhoods. Under the leadership of the Glass Family, Royals Charities has donated more than one million dollars to Kansas City area charities since 2001. Monies raised through Royals Charities from donations, auctions and fund-raising, are re-invested in the metropolitan Kansas City region.
