Eight teams have registered for this year's playoffs.

You might as well join them.
Register now on your favorite club's official site and keep yourself dialed into the postseason. Registration is free, it's easy, it's very 2004 and it's kind of like having your own clubhouse locker -- without being swarmed by the media, or having to listen to your teammates' music.
Just sign up at the official sites for either the Angels, Astros, Braves, Cardinals, Dodgers, Red Sox, Twins or Yankees. After signing up, you will receive newsletters, breaking news and special offers in your e-mail inbox -- and you'll have access to your team's message boards and chat rooms.
You don't have to worry about feeling exiled to baseball Siberia if your favorite club is one of the 22 that have just closed up shop for the season. Register at any club site and get the same treatment -- and find out the latest deals on 2005 season tickets.
And if you're interested in the team debuting in the nation's capital next season, head over to MLB.com's new site, dcbaseball.com. You can register to make sure you're the first to know about all of the developments forthcoming with the Montreal Expos' tentative move in 2005 to Washington, D.C.
If your favorite team is one of the elite eight this October, congratulations. But even if your club of choice played its final game on Sunday, there's no reason not to register and make your fandom official.
