Indians at the plate: The Tribe was launching some big homers early, as Jhonny Peralta and Jason Michaels each ripped a solo shot and Travis Hafner cranked out a two-run homer off Jeremy Bonderman. Ronnie Belliard added a hard-hit RBI single in the sixth and a sacrifice fly in the eighth. The Tribe had what will be their regular lineup for the 2006 season out on the field for this one.

Tigers at the plate: Magglio Ordonez churned out an RBI single in the first. In the second, Carlos Guillen and Chris Shelton each had a run-scoring knock. Curtis Granderson had an RBI single in the sixth.

Indians on the mound: Right-hander Jake Westbrook couldn't find a good rhythm. He was touched for four runs on 10 hits in six innings of work.

Tigers on the mound: Bonderman had trouble keeping the ball down, serving up three homers over the course of his five innings pitched.

Grapefruit League records: Indians 19-10-1; Tigers 17-14.

Up next: The Indians play their last home game of the spring with Friday's 1:05 p.m. ET game against the Reds. Left-hander Cliff Lee will start opposite left-hander Brandon Claussen.

The Tigers head back to Lakeland for their final home game, also at 1:05. Left-hander Nate Robertson will get the start against the Devil Rays.
