Marlins to activate outfielder De Aza
Kensing sent to Triple-A; Borchard designated for assignment
PHILADELPHIA -- After Tuesday's 11-1 loss to the Phillies, the Marlins made a few roster moves that will become official on Wednesday.
Outfielder Joe Borchard was designated for assignment, and the team will reinstate rookie outfielder Alejandro De Aza for Wednesday's game against the Phillies.
De Aza has been out since early April with a stress fracture to his left ankle. He has been playing in rehab assignment games for Double-A Carolina. De Aza opened the season as Florida's starting center fielder.
Reliever Logan Kensing was reinstated off the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.
