Dodgers at the plate: Blake DeWitt tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning as the Dodgers avoided what would have been their fifth straight loss. James Loney gave the Dodgers a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the first inning and Jason Repko made it 2-1 with a single of his own in the sixth.

Brewers at the plate: Rickie Weeks hit an RBI double to tie the game in the seventh inning, then stole second and third base before Joe Dillon's RBI groundout gave the Brewers a 3-2 lead. The Brewers drew 9,481 fans Tuesday to boost their average attendance at Maryvale Baseball Park to 5,900, an all-time franchise record for Spring Training.

Dodgers on the mound: Brad Penny was not sharp in his final tune-up for Opening Day, walking five batters in three innings of work, but he struck out three and limited the damage to one run. In five Spring Training starts spanning 19 innings, Penny allowed two earned runs. Clayton Kershaw pitched three scoreless innings in relief of Penny and has surrendered only one run in his five relief appearances this spring.

Brewers on the mound: Carlos Villanueva, whose spot in the starting rotation was cemented earlier Tuesday, worked six innings, allowed two runs on six hits with no walks and struck out four. Dave Bush was two outs away from the save before the Dodgers rallied to tie the game, which was called after nine innings.

Spring Training records: Dodgers 9-18-2, Brewers 17-10-1.

Up next for the Dodgers: After stops in Florida, China and Arizona, the Dodgers, who finally returned home after Tuesday's game, will take Wednesday off to get re-acclimated, then finish off the exhibition season with a game on Thursday night in Anaheim against the Angels. Derek Lowe will start and Takashi Saito is expected to pitch one inning. Then the Dodgers play a three-game series against the Red Sox. Games on Friday night and Sunday will be at Dodger Stadium, and Saturday night's game will be a ThinkBlue charity event at the Coliseum as part of the 50th anniversary in Los Angeles celebration, with 113,000 tickets sold.

Up next for the Brewers: Ben Sheets will make his final tune-up before Opening Day when the Brewers travel to Tucson on Wednesday to face the White Sox. Sheets, who is on track for his sixth Opening Day start in the last seven years, is scheduled to face Chicago right-hander Gavin Floyd.
