Blalock out of lineup with illness
Rangers third baseman suffering from light-headedness
ANAHEIM -- Third baseman Hank Blalock was scratched from Friday's lineup after suffering some light-headedness during batting practice.Blalock had been stricken by the flu bug during the Rangers' three-game series with the Mariners earlier this week. He had managed to stay in the lineup in Seattle but was scratched about an hour before Friday's game with the Angels. Ramon Vazquez started at third base. Michael Young was also stricken with the flu in Seattle but said he was feeling better on Friday even though he still had a "froggy" voice.
