Baker strikes out four in one inning
Right-hander becomes first Twins pitcher to accomplish feat
MILWAUKEE -- The feat of a pitcher striking out the side is impressive enough. But when that accomplishment includes recording four strikeouts in the inning, it constitutes a record.Twins right-hander Scott Baker tied a Major League record on Sunday afternoon in his start against the Brewers when he struck out four batters in the third inning.
The last time in the Major Leagues it happened was on Sept. 23, 2006, when the Dodgers' Brad Penny struck out four in the second inning of a game against the Diamondbacks.
