Jason Schmidt resumed his injury rehabilitation assignment on Saturday night, pitching 2 2/3 innings and allowing one earned run for Triple-A Las Vegas at Fresno.
Schmidt, one year after career-threatening shoulder surgery, had made four rehab starts for Class A Inland
With his fastball clocked between 88-91 mph, Schmidt made 45 pitches (24 strikes), allowing three hits, two walks with one strikeout.
