Third baseman to play two for Potomac, four in Columbus
WASHINGTON -- The Nationals announced a rehab schedule for third baseman Ryan Zimmerman during Saturday night's game. Zimmerman will go out to Class A Potomac for games on Monday and Tuesday in Salem, Va., and then join Triple-A Columbus for games from Thursday through Sunday.
Zimmerman has been on the disabled list since June 3 with a labral tear in his left shoulder. He sustained the injury sliding into second in a May 18 game against Baltimore.
