J.P. Arencibia's three-run homer capped a six-run sixth inning Tuesday as the Phoenix Desert Dogs rallied for a 10-6 triumph over the Scottsdale Scorpions.

Arencibia, a Blue Jays catching prospect, hit his second Arizona Fall League homer in the sixth off Michael Crotta (Pirates) to give the Desert Dogs a 7-6 edge. The Miami native went 2-for-5 before striking out to end the seventh and getting ejected by plate umpire Mark Ripperger.

Michael McKenry (Rockies) hit a solo homer in the seventh and Steven Tolleson (Twins) went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for Phoenix (6-7). Sean Doolittle (Athletics), Dustin Martin (Twins) and Eric Young (Rockies) each drove in a run.

A's farmhand Jeff Gray (1-0) hurled a perfect sixth for the win. Jeff Manship (Twins) started and allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out one.

Scottsdale (5-8) scored twice in the first on an RBI grounder by Mark Trumbo (Angels) and a sacrifice fly by Astros prospect Drew Sutton. Emmanuel Burriss (Giants) lined a two-run single in the second for a 4-1 edge before Brian Bogusevic (Astros) added an RBI single in the third.

Crotta (0-1) was charged with five runs -- four earned -- on four hits and a walk over four innings. Scorpions starter Sergio Perez (Astros) yielded one run on five hits over four frames.
