CINCINNATI -- Outfielder Corey Patterson and catcher Paul Bako on Monday became the final two Reds to file as free agents.

Neither player will be re-signed, according to Reds general manager Walt Jocketty.

Signed late as a free agent in March to a one-year, $3 million contract, Patterson batted .205 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and a .238 on-base percentage in 135 games this past season. His average was tied with Detroit's Brandon Inge for lowest in the Majors among hitters with at least 375 plate appearances.

Bako, 36, made the team as a non-roster player in camp and earned $750,000 in his lone season with Cincinnati. A backup most of his career, he led Reds catchers with 88 starts and batted .217. His six homers, 35 RBIs and 99 games played were all career highs. He caught five of the pitching staff's six shutouts.
