New York Mets prospect Daniel Murphy homered and hit a walk-off double to lead Peoria over Mesa, 13-12, on Tuesday to push the Saguaros past the the Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League American Division standings.

Murphy, MLB.com's Mets Organizational Hitter of the Year, went 3-for-5 and collected three RBIs on the day.

"It was a good day," Murphy said. "I had runners on, the guys ahead of me were swinging the bat well and the guys behind me were swinging the bat well. I saw some good pitches to hit."

Murphy, who's converting to second base from the outfield, has put together eight hits in his last four games.

"My goals are to be consistent and play well every day so I'm ready for Spring Training," he said. "I'm here to play second base every day and get more comfortable."

"I'm feeling good," Murphy added. "This is a great team to be with, and this is a great park to come play in every day."

Chad Huffman (Padres) delivered a homer and three RBIs for the Saguaros (17-7). Brett Wallace (Cardinals), who had a homer, four hits and six RBIs on Monday, also went deep Tuesday -- his fourth of the fall. Bill Rhinehart (Nationals) added three hits and scored twice.

Mets flamethrower Eddie Kunz (1-1) picked up the win after blowing his first save in Arizona. He gave up an eighth-inning homer to Logan Morrison (Marlins) and struck out one in 1 1/3 innings of work.

Outfielder Scott Cousins (Marlins) paced Mesa (16-8) with four hits and five RBIs. Morrison and Jeff Larish (Tigers) plated three runs apiece.

Tigers right-hander Zach Simons (0-1) allowed a run on three hits over 1 1/3 innings to suffer the loss for the Solar Sox.
