Angels infielder Erick Aybar homered in the third inning, then slapped a walk-off single in the ninth as the Tigres locked up a spot in the Championship Series.

Former Major Leaguer Ramon Ortiz allowed one run on two hits over six innings for Licey (12-6), while Twins infielder Alexi Casilla doubled and scored the lone run for the Gigantes (10-7). Box score
