Shoulder strain hampers Donnelly
Righty to be monitored; forearm stiffness halts Eyre's rehab
SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Rangers pitcher Brendan Donnelly is being limited to long toss because of a strained muscle in the back of his right shoulder, and Willie Eyre has stopped throwing because of some stiffness in his right forearm.
Donnelly has made one appearance so far in a game. He walked two batters in an intrasquad scrimmage game and has not appeared in a Cactus League game. He threw long toss on Sunday and will continue to be monitored.
