ST. LOUIS -- Fans can begin registering online Thursday morning for a chance to purchase tickets for the 2009 All-Star Game and All-Star Summer events in St. Louis by logging onto MLB.com or any of the 30 club Web sites.
Starting at 9 a.m. CT on Thursday, fans may submit one entry per person that will enter them in a random lottery that, if they are chosen, will allow them an opportunity to purchase tickets for the State Farm Home Run Derby and All-Star Game.
The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. CT on Friday, May 22, and winners of the lottery will be notified by e-mail no later than Friday, May 29th.
No lottery is needed for tickets to the XM All-Star Futures Game and the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday, July 12th. Those tickets are on sale now and start for as little as $25.
Tickets to the MLB All-Star FanFest at America's Center are also on sale now for $30 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under (children two and under are admitted free), senior citizens and military personnel. Those tickets are available for purchase online, by phone at 1-888-FANFEST (326-3378), or at the Busch Stadium Ticket Office.
Cardinals season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for All-Star Summer events at Busch Stadium.
Several other events will be free of charge to fans, including a concert under the Gateway Arch that will benefit "Stand up to Cancer," on Saturday, July 11th, and the All-Star Game Red Carpet Show presented by Chevy on Tuesday, July 14.
