Flores, Dukes make progress
Catcher has successful rehab outing; outfielder gets close
NEW YORK -- Nationals catcher Jesus Flores, on the disabled list because of a right shoulder contusion, went 2-for-3 and threw out a base stealer for Double-A Harrisburg without any pain on Monday.
If he continues to make progress, Flores will be activated from the disabled list before the three-game series against the Phillies.
Outfielder Elijah Dukes, on the DL because of a left hamstring strain, played five innings in an extended spring game and is expected to join Harrisburg for a rehab assignment in a couple of days.
