Royals sign 10 more from '09 Draft
Right-hander and sixth-round pick White among signees
KANSAS CITY -- The Royals signed 10 more players from last week's First-Year Player Draft, including their sixth-round selection, Mathiew White, a right-handed pitcher from the University of New Mexico.
As of Tuesday, the Royals had signed 17 of their 49 Draft picks and inked four other undrafted players.

The newest signees include seventh-round selection George Baumann, a left-handed pitcher from Missouri State, ninth-round pick Benjamin Theriot, a catcher from Texas State, 18th-rounder Brendan Lafferty, a left-handed pitcher from UCLA, and 19th-rounder Ryan Stovall, a third baseman from Thomas University.
Kansas City also signed 21st-rounder Marvin Cooper, a center fielder from Belhaven College, 22nd-round choice Ryan Dennick, a lefty from Tennessee Tech, 23rd-rounder Scott Kelley, a righty from Penn State, 27th-rounder Gabriel MacDougall, a left fielder from Lynn University, and 33rd-rounder Claudio Bavera from Cochise College.
Two undrafted players, Jack Adams and Bryan Roberts, were also signed. Adams is a right-handed pitcher from San Jose State, and Roberts is a righty from Loyola Marymount in California.
Those players can be added to a group of seven players that have already signed, including 10th-round pick Geoffrey Baldwin, a first-baseman from Grand Junction, Colo., 11th-rounder Ryan Wood, a shortstop from East Carolina, and 12th-rounder Nicholas Wooley, a right-handed pitcher from William Woods University.
