Congress to review Sosa's 2005 testimony

Former Major League slugger Sammy Sosa's well-publicized March 2005 denial of performance-enhancing drug use will be looked into by a congressional committee, according to The Associated Press.

Towns added, according to the AP, that, "he will determine the appropriate steps following a review of the matter."
Sosa, appearing before congressional leaders in 2005, said he had never taken illegal performance-enhancing drugs.
