MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins took right-handed pitchers Boof Bonser, Pat Neshek and Kevin Slowey off the 60-day disabled list on Tuesday and reinstated them to the 40-man roster. Bonser and Neshek both missed the entire 2009 season following surgeries. Neshek underwent Tommy John elbow ligament replacement surgery last November, and Bonser had surgery on his right shoulder in February to repair partial tears in his rotator cuff and labrum. Slowey went 10-3 with a 4.86 ERA in 16 starts before undergoing season-ending surgery in July to remove bone chips from his right wrist. The Twins also added right-handed reliever Juan Morillo to the 40-man roster. Morillo, 26, posted a 22.50 ERA in three appearances for the Twins after being claimed off waivers from the Rockies on April 17. The hard-throwing right-hander went 6-6 with a 3.90 ERA in 46 relief outings for Triple-A Rochester, striking out 87 in 67 innings while issuing 51 walks. The Twins' 40-man roster now stands at 36 players. The club has until Nov. 20 to finalize its 40-man roster in preparation for the Rule 5 Draft on Dec. 10.Kelly Thesier is a reporter for MLB.com.
