GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Reds utility infielder Chris Burke suffered a fracture in his right ring finger on Thursday during a spring workout.The Reds were performing fly ball drills on a practice field when a ball tipped off Burke's finger and dislocated it. He was taken for X-rays, which revealed the fracture. Burke will be re-examined in a couple of days after the swelling goes down. His is the first injury suffered during the first week of camp. The 30-year-old Burke is in Spring Training as a non-roster player after he signed a Minor League contract in December. A veteran of six big league seasons with the Astros, Diamondbacks and Padres, he batted .207 in 32 games last season with San Diego.
