Scully released from hospital
Legendary broadcaster expected to return this weekend
PHOENIX -- Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully was released from a Los Angeles hospital Friday in good condition after suffering a fall at home Thursday night.
Scully, who was hospitalized overnight for observation, is expected to be at Camelback Ranch-Glendale to broadcast Sunday's Dodgers spring game.
"Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers and I apologize for any concern that I caused," the 82-year-old Scully said through a statement released by the ballclub. "Most importantly, I'm looking forward to Sunday's game, my first of the spring. Thank you and see you at the Stadium!"
