Harang scratched with sore back vs. Mets

NEW YORK -- Shortly before the start of the Reds' game against the Mets on Monday, the Reds scratched starting pitcher Aaron Harang because of lower back pain.

Left-handed rookie Travis Wood, originally scheduled to pitch on Tuesday, was moved up to make his second big league start against New York.

It was not immediately known who would take Wood's spot to start on Tuesday.

In his 18 starts this season, Harang is 6-7 with 5.02 ERA, but had been 4-2 with a 3.94 ERA over his last eight starts.
