LOS ANGELES -- Carlos Monasterios does not appear to have a concussion after a foul ball off the bat of the Mets' Carlos Beltran struck him in the right side of the head in the fourth inning of Sunday's 1-0 win as he sat in the dugout at Dodger Stadium.
"He's all right," manager Joe Torre said. "That was scary. I don't think he saw it. [Ronnie] Belliard saw it, but he's fine."
Monasterios threw five scoreless innings in Saturday's 3-2 win.
