Houston outfielder Jimmy Paredes powered Gigantes in a nine-run, 14-hit effort, going 3-for-6 with a home run and two runs scored. Erick Almonte (Brewers) also went 3-for-5 with a pair of walks while both Marlins' No.5 prospect Marcell Ozuna and Carlos Peguero (Mariners) doubled and drove in a run.
