Omaha opened a nine-game homestand by defeating the Redbirds. Nate Adcock (5.0 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 2 SO) worked around two homers to pick up his first win since April 19. Christian Colon posted two hits and three RBI. Irving Falu and Willy Taveras added three hits apiece while Anthony Seratelli homered in the seventh. The teams are scheduled to play a pair of seven-inning games today.

Northwest Arkansas let a 2-0 lead slip away in a 10-inning loss at home. Yordano Ventura held San Antonio scoreless on two hits and three walks over 5.0 innings. He fanned six, bringing his total to 74 while lowering his ERA to 2.34 (15 ER in 57.2 IP). Matt Fields, Roman Hernandez and Alex McClure posted two hits apiece.

Danny Mateo hit a walk-off homer in the 11th as Wilmington evened the series at a game apiece. Jack Lopez tied the game at 4-4 with a two-run triple in the seventh. Reliever Malcom Culver held the Keys scoreless on two hits and two walks over 3.0 innings. Scott Alexander (4.0 IP, 1 H) earned his second win while lowering his ERA to 0.84 (2 ER in 21.1 IP). Alexander's combined ERA with Lexington and Wilmington is 0.99 (4 ER in 36.1 IP).

Lexington moved to 3-0 in a four-game series. Michael Antonio tied the game with an RBI double in the sixth, scoring Fred Ford. Kenny Diekroeger tripled later in the inning, plating Antonio. Starter Miguel Almonte allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits over 5.0 innings.
