It marks the fourth time in five years the Twins will open the year on the road after having Opening Day at Target Field in '13.
The home opener for the Twins will be April 7 against the A's, with an off-day the next day. It starts a nine-game homestand for Minnesota against the A's, Royals and Blue Jays.
The Twins are also set to play the National League West in Interleague Play, with the Dodgers coming to Minnesota for a three-game series starting April 29.
The Twins also travel to San Diego to face the Padres for two games beginning May 20 before heading north to San Francisco to take on the Giants for a three-game series that starts May 23. The Padres come to Minnesota for two games from Aug. 5-6.
Minnesota heads to Colorado for a three-game set against the Rockies starting July 11. The three-game series at Coors Field will end the first half of the season for the Twins, who are slated to host the All-Star Game at Target Field on July 15. The Twins head into the All-Star break on a six-game road trip through Seattle and Colorado to help with the setup of the Midsummer Classic. But the Twins remain home to open up the second half of the year with a 10-game stretch against the Rays, Indians and White Sox.
The Twins also play the Interleague-rival Brewers for four games, with two games in Milwaukee starting June 2 followed by two more at Target Field beginning June 4.
The Twins finish Interleague Play with their final three home games of the year, against the D-backs from Sept. 22-24. Minnesota then wraps up the season with a four-game series against the Tigers in Detroit from Sept. 25-28.
