  • Astros to Participate in Day of Service Tomorrow, Jan. 16

    On Monday, Jan. 16, Astros President of Business Operations Reid Ryan, Astros Foundation Executive Director Twila Carter, Astros front office employees and volunteers from the Astros MLB Youth Academy and Astros Foundation will once again join Orbit and the Shooting Stars to participate in a Day of Service at the Houston Food Bank in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and to kick off the 2017 Houston Astros Caravan presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. Each year, dozens of members of the Astros front office volunteer their time on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

  • Astros Agree to Terms with Three Arbitration-Eligible Players

    The Houston Astros have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with left-handed pitcher Dallas Keuchel and outfielders Jake Marisnick and George Springer. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow. All three players had been arbitration-eligible. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

    The Houston Astros announced several 2017 non-roster invites to Major League Spring Training today, which includes eight pitchers, three catchers, three infielders and four outfielders for a total of 18 players. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.

  • Brady Rodgers to be Guest on Astroline Tonight

    HOUSTON, TX - Houston Astros right-handed pitcher Brady Rodgers will be the guest on Astroline tonight, Thursday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m. CT at Pluckers Wing Bar for the seventh installment of the offseason radio program. Astros play-by-play broadcaster Robert Ford will serve as the host. Ford and fellow radio broadcaster Steve Sparks will alternate hosting duties throughout the offseason.

  • Astros Announce 2017 Caravan Schedule

    The 2017 Houston Astros Caravan presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors begins on Tuesday, January 17. The annual community outreach tour consists of several trips over the course of three days with stops in the Houston area (Jan. 17 - 19), San Antonio (Jan. 18), Austin (Jan. 19) and Corpus Christi (Jan. 19), and culminates with the annual Astros FanFest at Minute Maid Park on Saturday, Jan. 21.

    HOUSTON, TX - Former Houston Astros first baseman Jeff Bagwell will be the guest on Astroline tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 7 p.m. CT at Pluckers Wing Bar for the sixth installment of the offseason radio program. Astros radio color commentator Steve Sparks will serve as the host. Sparks and fellow radio broadcaster Robert Ford will alternate hosting duties throughout the offseason.
