    The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF), Soledad O'Brien and Brad Raymond announced that the Starfish Foundation's 'PowHERful™ Summit' will be coming to Dodger Stadium Saturday, December 10 giving more than 200 young women in the Los Angeles area opportunities to experience the inspiring and motivational series that has toured the country. LADF awarded the Starfish Foundation a $15,000 grant to support their women's empowerment curriculum and scholarship program including December's summit.

  • DODGERS ANNOUNCE POP-UP MUSEUM AT DODGER STADIUM

    The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced a pop-up museum at Dodger Stadium located in the left-field reserve level team store. The exhibit opens Friday, December 2. The Dodgers' offseason exhibit features pieces from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Gary Cypres' world-renowned sports memorabilia collection, items on loan from former Dodger players and pieces from the Los Angeles Dodgers' archives. Admission tickets to the Dodgers' pop-up museum can be purchased at www.dodgers.com/museum.

  • DODGERS AND LADF ANNOUNCE YOUTH CAMP SERIES; MINOR LEAGUE PROSPECTS TO INSTRUCT

    The Dodgers and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) announced today the Dodger Youth Camp Series, which will feature instruction from 10 Dodger minor league prospects including first-round picks Walker Buehler, Gavin Lux, and Will Smith, and 2016 Arizona Fall League All-Stars Willie Calhoun and Alex Verdugo. The Dodger Youth Camp Series includes LADF Winter Youth Baseball Camp presented by Your SoCal BMW Centers, Dodger Big League Experience Camps and Dodger Training Camps. LADF Winter Youth Baseball Camp and Dodger Big League Experience Camps will take place at Dodger Stadium and the Dodger Training Camps will take place at GBG Training Academy, 2607 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Redondo Beach.

  • LADF WILL JOIN IN 12th ANNUAL TURKEY GIVEAWAY AND HEALTH FAIR

    The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will join Senator Isadore Hall, III and Progress California's 12th annual Turkey Giveaway and Health Fair at the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy in Compton, 901 E. Artesia Blvd. in Compton, tomorrow, November 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. LADF will join community leaders including Hall, III - 35th SD, Compton Mayor Aja Brown, Councilmember Isaac Galvan, Councilmember Emma Sharif, Councilmember Janna Zurita and Councilmember Tana McCoy, in donating 10,000 free holiday turkeys to underserved families in Compton and surrounding communities. The turkeys will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis at MLB Urban Youth Academy.

  • Hall of Famer Vin Scully To Receive Presidential Medal of Freedom November 22

    Today, President Barack Obama named 21 recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom which included Hall of Famer Vin Scully who this year completed his 67th and final season in the broadcast booth for the Dodgers. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation's highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors. The awards will be presented at the White House on November 22.

  • Dodgers Acquire Ruf and Sweeney From Philadelphia

    The Los Angeles Dodgers today acquired first baseman/outfielder Darin Ruf and minor league infielder/outfielder Darnell Sweeney from the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for infielder/outfielder Howie Kendrick.

  • VETERANS DAY BATTING PRACTICE AT DODGER STADIUM TOMORROW

    The Dodgers will play host to approximately 300 guests comprised of pre-selected active duty service members of our nation's U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard, veterans and their families for batting practice at Dodger Stadium tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in honor of Veterans Day.
