2004 World Series umpires announced
Twenty-nine-year vet Montague to head crew
tickets for any Major League Baseball game
Major League Baseball announced today the umpiring crew that will work the 2004 World Series, scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 23, 2004.

Twenty-nine-year veteran umpire Ed Montague will call the balls and strikes in Game One of the Fall Classic. Montague, working his fifth World Series, will be joined by Dale Scott (3rd WS), Brian Gorman (1st WS), Chuck Meriwether (1st WS), Gerry Davis (3rd WS) and Charlie Reliford (2nd WS).
