WASHINGTON -- The Washington Nationals today announced their television schedule for the 2006 spring training and regular season. The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN), the television home of the Nationals, will produce and distribute 154 of the Nationals' Regular Season games and four (4) Spring Training contests. MASN is carried locally by DirecTV (Channel 626), VerizonFIOS (Channel 66), RCN Cable (Channel 8) and Charter Cable. The Nationals games on MASN are available from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Charlotte, North Carolina.

"We look forward to another successful season and are pleased that MASN will be there to cover all the action," said Tony Tavares, President of the Washington Nationals.

WDCA-Channel 20 will carry the MASN telecast for 32 regular season games, the majority of which are on Friday nights. WDCA will show eight inter-league games, including two against the Boston Red Sox, two versus the New York Yankees and four with I-95 rival, the Baltimore Orioles.

MASN will produce and distribute four preseason contests carried on WDCA, beginning March 18 against the New York Mets at Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Florida. The fourth and final preseason game on WDCA will feature the Nationals hosting the Orioles on March 31 from RFK Stadium.

"WDCA is proud of our partnership with MASN and we're excited to bring more exciting baseball games to Nats' fans again this year," said Duffy Dyer, General Manager of WDCA-TV.

In addition to the 154 Nationals games available on MASN, eight games will be televised nationally, including one game on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball and seven games on Fox's Saturday Game of the Week.
