MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers will open their longest homestand of the season on Friday against the Washington Nationals at Miller Park. The 10-day, 10-game stand will be highlighted by the First Annual Negro Leagues Tribute on June 2, Damian Miller Bobblehead night on June 3 and a number of other special promotions.

The homestand opens this Friday with The Negro Leagues Tribute as the Brewers will wear reproductions of Milwaukee Bears uniforms, representing Milwaukee's entry in the 1923 Negro National League. The Washington Nationals will join the festivities by donning uniforms of the Negro National League's Homestead Grays, who called Washington D.C. home from 1937-48.

A pre-game ceremony will honor three former players who made monumental contributions to Negro Leagues Baseball: Buck O'Neil, James Sanders and Dennis Biddle. Each of them will be on hand as they are placed on the Miller Park Walls of Honor. All fans will receive a placard commemorating the event, and honorees will be available on the Field Level concourse for autographs from the first through third innings.

It will be a big night for autograph seekers as Friday is also a U.S. Bank Autograph Friday. Scheduled to sign prior to Friday night's game are: Jose Capellan, Bill Castro, Prince Fielder, Gabe Gross, Chad Moeller, Matt Wise and Ned Yost. The schedule of players is subject to change and the players will begin signing autographs on the field at 5:45 p.m.

Also on Friday, fans can take part in a pair of popular promotions at Miller Park. For fans 21-and-older, $15 buys a ticket in the Miller Lite Beerpen, located in the Right Field Loge Bleachers. A complimentary Brewers T-shirt is also part of the package. In addition, college students are eligible for savings of 50% on Terrace Reserved and Bleacher tickets when showing a valid college ID. This offer excludes the Miller Lite Beerpen.

This Saturday's 6:05 p.m. start against the Nationals features the second All-Fan Bobblehead Giveaway of the 2006 season. Damian Miller is the featured player, and the doll comes with a removable catcher's mask. The dolls, which are compliments of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, showcase Miller in the white home uniform and 5,000 random dolls will feature Miller in the alternate retro pinstripe home uniform. Plus, 100 lucky fans will find cards in their box that can be redeemed for a doll autographed by Miller.

The final game of the weekend series with the Nationals on Sunday will mark the fourth Retro Sunday of the 2006 season, with former Brewer Ben Oglivie on hand for a fan autograph session (first through third innings, Field Level concourse) and other appearances. The Brewers will don their retro pinstripe uniforms, and throughout the game, fans will be entertained by 80s-themed music and special events.

The theme for Retro Sunday is the once popular-but not forgotten-80s hairstyle, the "Mullet." The year 1982 will be celebrated with music and other entertainment geared toward that year. After Sunday's game, kids 16-and-under will be able to run the bases as a part of the Great Clips Kids Base Run.

The Brewers and Padres will begin a four-game series on Monday, June 5. This marks the only appearance by San Diego at Miller Park this season. Tuesday's game against San Diego will be another opportunity for fans to join the fun in Daron & Bill's Buckethead Brigade Section where just $17 buys a game ticket and a Buckethead Brigade t-shirt.

Thursday's series finale matinee against the Padres will be an "MGD Getaway Day" with fans 21-and-older having the opportunity to win a trip for two to a Major League game. Entry forms will be available throughout the concourse, and the road trip is compliments of Midwest Airlines and Miller Brewing Company.

Also on Thursday, savings of up to 50% on game tickets purchased at the Box Office are available for kids 14-and-under and seniors over 60. Seniors are also welcome to participate in the "Senior Stroll" where they can walk the warning track following the game's final out.

On Friday, June 9, the Brewers will begin a three-game series against its N.L. Central Rival, the St. Louis Cardinals. Marquee pricing is in effect for this series with pricing as follows: Field Infield Box, $50; Field Outfield Box, $42; Field Bleachers, $20; Loge Diamond Box, $45; Loge Infield Box, $40; Loge Outfield Box, $32; Loge Bleachers, $20; Club Box, $50; Terrace Box, $23; Terrace Reserved, $18; Bernie's Terrace, $12; Uecker Seats, $1.

Friday will be another College Night with 50% savings on Terrace Reserved and Bleacher Tickets (excluding the Miller Lite Beerpen). Fans can also enjoy the Miller Lite Beerpen, where $20 gets a ticket in the Loge Bleachers and a Brewers t-shirt.

Chris Capuano, Jeff Cirillo, Jorge De La Rosa, Bill Hall, Corey Hart, Carlos Lee and Dave Nelson are all scheduled to participate in U.S. Bank Autograph Friday on June 9 before the game against the Cardinals. The autograph schedule is subject to change.

To close out the homestand on Sunday, June 11, the first 10,000 kids 16-and-under will receive a Mini Bobblehead Doll of Brady Clark, courtesy of Sentry Foods. The Sunday game will also be a "Retro Sunday" as the team will sport the Sunday alternate uniforms featuring the "Ball-in-Glove" logo. The year 1983 will be celebrated and the 80s fashion trend of "Headbands and mesh shirts" will be featured.
