MLB Properties to debut redesigned on-field Premier jacket, hooded fleece for 2007 MLB postseason
Majestic Athletic to produce new products as part of ongoing MLBP Performance Initiative

Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP), along with official licensee Majestic Athletic, will debut a
redesigned on-field Premier jacket and hooded fleece for the 2007 MLB postseason Clubs. The reengineered
products from the MLB Authentic Collection were produced to enhance the quality in performance apparel used by players. The two new pieces are part Major League Baseball Properties' ongoing effort to ensure all MLB players are outfitted in the most technologically advanced products available. These products will ensure players stay warm and dry in late October, without bulky layering that can inhibit performance.
The new Therma Base Premier jacket is a performance soft shell jacket made from an all-in-one technical fabric that provides four-way stretch, weather resistance and insulation for optimal function and comfort. Similar to the Premier jacket of the past two seasons, the new piece has traditional athletic styling such as a standup collar, color blocked inserts, banded cuffs and waistband. The new front decoration is a high quality flexible woven emblem with the team sleeve logo and center back neck
silhouetted batter logo being a rubberized treatment.
The new Therma Base Performance fleece hood is much less bulky than traditional fleece, yet offers superior range of motion and comfort by virtue of knit poly spandex fabric. The brushed back fleece maximizes warmth while allowing for improved moisture management.
Both products, along with the entire MLB Authentic Collection, will be available this fall and throughout
the upcoming holiday season at major national retailers, as well as MLB.com, the official Web site of Major League Baseball.
The MLB Authentic Collection includes high quality fitted caps, jerseys and outerwear identical to that which Major League Baseball players wear on the field. All headwear, apparel and outerwear from the MLB Authentic Collection feature the Major League Baseball silhouetted batter logo on the back, distinguishing it from the other MLB apparel.
